newest book club book

set in South America, ONLY my favorite continent!
super psyched. I never got into dumb David Sedaris. The first few stories in the second part (deux) were the best. That's when he talks about having moved to France and language barriers and cultural differences. The rest was pretty formulaic (my family is so wacky) and pointlessly anecdotal. It reminded me of Running With Scissors by Augusten Burroughs, which I didn't like either. Oh well!
Going home tomorrow for Thanksgiving, which is a pretty great holiday. Tomorrow (Wednesday) concludes my first week as EITC Coordinator, which is my first real, salaried job. Yeah buddy. I work for my money, honey.
