working short shifts thanks to slowness at the rk
weeding the garden completely so i can cover it with black plastic so in the spring when i come home it doesn't have weeds of tree proportion growing out of it making it a painful and lengthy process to weed
potting the parsley, which apparently is really into the cold weather
making some awesome tabbouleh with one of the parsley plants
getting some of the sewing done that i've been meaning to do for a while--hemming work pants and resizing my yellow sweatshirt
old navy is having a ridiculous sale where plenty of neat things cost $1.99. i need to stop entering stores all together until i am financially stable. i got THREE striped long tank tops/dresses. they're really comfy but, as super sales often only have weird sizes, will need some resizing. i've also been into buying huge bright teeshirts lately that look like some sort of early '90s hip-hop revival attempt to make into dresses. i've also been listening to a lot of de la soul lately, maybe these two things are related.
watched slc punk with dave because he'd never seen it. i love everything about that movie.
( i write these things so i can feel like something in my life is being accomplished. for me, more than for you. but i mean, it is a public blog and not a private journal, so it is also so other people can see what i have accomplished, even if it is as minor as making tabbouleh. but i guess it's things people normally wouldn't know about me. now if you need help making tabbouleh or want to borrow slc punk (on vhs) you know who to come to--to whom to come?)
i finally picked up photos from pps in wilkes-barre that i took with my lomo smena camera. it's the second roll i shot off with that camera, mostly of the bloomsburg fair and a bike ride with my little bro. they came out a lot better than the first roll, which was plenty underexposed, but i don't think i'll go to pps anymore. they looked crisper and with nicer colors from the ritz at the plymouth meeting mall, and the guy at pps was about to charge me $30 (70 cents a print) but i guess he felt bad because i was like, thirty...dollars? and my voice cracked so he charged me $17. i thought $13 was expensive from colorbright in collegeville. i wish 1-hour photo places would man the fuck up and put slide film through their machines but they think they can't. frustration. plus the girl, lisa, at ritz gives me deals cause she likes me and free black borders which look great. plus there is a chipotle at the plymouth meeting mall. win win win win win.
i can't wait to move to philly with matt. i can't wait to get a tattoo/several tattoos. i can't wait til my bills are payed off. i can't wait til i'm amazing at drums. i can't wait to see everyone i love again.
tomorrow i am supposed to jam with kristen, maybe see the movie at the kirby, possible drum lesson in the morning, maybe hang out with rob, maybe build a compost heap, sew gangsta shirts into gangsta dresses. i have a lot of plans, probably won't do most of them.
i am going now to hopefully eat some mashed potatoes with vegan gravy. mmm salt.
